Are you Spending your Advertising Money Wisely?

Whether you?re just starting out or you?ve been in business for years, spending your advertising money wisely is important. Wasting money on techniques that don?t work or reach out to the right market is not good for business, so it?s important to consider all your options and the best way to do that is to have the knowledge you need to make the right decision.

Here are a few things to consider.

If you choose direct mail advertising you know you?re going to reach the right market because you?ll be sending your letters or flyers to those that were recently arrested. It?s hard not to have the right market when you know they were in jail a few days prior to receiving your information.

On the other side of the coin if you choose to advertise on the back of a phone book you know you?ll potentially reach those that were arrested within the past few days and looking for a lawyer to represent them, but it?s also possible people that aren?t being charged with a crime will see your ad as well.

Both methods of advertising will work, but the first option will, more than likely, be more of a success than the second option. That?s not to say the second one won?t work, because it will, it?s important to realize you?ll make more money on the first option which brings the cost per client down.
